The Monongahela Rockhounds want to prioritize our members’ health and safety through pandemic times, while still providing accessible activities and events to look forward to that make the membership worthwhile!  We are currently having simultaneous in-person and virtual meetings via ​Zoom Video Conference Online. Silent auctions are currently available to in-person attendees but, unfortunately, not those attending virtually.

Details

1.

Meetings usually begin with a presentation by an invited speaker or club member on a topic of mineral, fossil, or lapidary interest.

2.

We take a social break with a virtual activity, lead by the month's hosts. Suggestions for future club activities are welcome during this informal, open forum.

3.

There is a show & tell period.  For every meeting, there is a "Mineral of the Month."  This is not a requirement, but merely a suggestion to help create a more themed show & tell.

4.

The business meeting begins.  Collecting trips and upcoming events are discussed.  Club officers deliver their monthly updates and reports.

5.

The meeting adjourns.
