SCHEDULE UPDATES - Continued Zoom Meetings and Pending Annual Show
The next meeting will take place on Saturday, March 6, 2021 beginning at 7PM EDT. For Show-and-Tell this March, our theme is Fossils (i.e. ammonite, trilobite, dendrites, coral, petrified wood, etc.). The theme is only a suggestion, so members and new guests and applicants—share whatever gems, minerals, fossils, and lapidary art findings and creations you wish to tell us more about!
The 2021 annual show is tentatively scheduled for April 17-18.
We look forward to the possibility that this year will offer better conditions for our show to stay on schedule, or still take place even if rescheduled to a back-up date. Please register to the event(s) to receive updates for 2021’s pending show! Registration is open to the public.
Club Officers will keep the website(s) and club members' e-mails informed on any further changes.
THANK YOU

Webmaster Message
I hope everyone is well! 2020 was a year of testing digital approaches to the club’s activities. Although they work and we’ve garnered interest and new members, I’m still looking forward to seeing and meeting everyone in person someday—maybe even in 2021 if all goes well?
Updating HTML on the original website and creating this Wix website on behalf of the club has been a lot of fun, so thank-you all for the project opportunity. I hope this website can serve as an appropriate tool to make communication, processes, and access easier for all current, past, and future members.
A Q&A (Questions and Answers) page that will offer tutorials of how to maximize the benefits of creating and using member accounts is another project on this website I’d like to gradually write and develop. Once the website is official, my goal is to create simplified instructional videos to help everyone better understand the functions of the website and the membership. If this still proves too complicated, I can manually create accounts for current members upon request (if an online account is something of interest and an optional exclusive to our members).
The website is live on the original domain, www.monongahelarockhounds.org. Thank-you members for your patience as the club officers coordinated this process.
Website Domain Transferred
Hooray!
E-mail accounts will be transitioning next, so please use our

for contact during this time
I'm striving to make the website as streamlined and user-friendly as possible between the navigation menu and page layout, to the images, links, and buttons... but I'm also human. If something on the website doesn't show up correctly, is inaccurate, presents grammar or spelling errors, appears distracting with certain features or design (colors, images, or textured backgrounds), or just making your browsing experience terrible, let me know what you'd like to see improved on the mobile and desktop versions!
