Monongahela Rockhounds
Meeting Information
The Monongahela Rockhounds have monthly meetings. On the first Saturday of months September through June, a meeting is held at 7:30 pm in the Munhall Borough Building. The meeting length varies, but usually lasts about 2 hours. There is no meeting in December, July, or August.

During a typical meeting:
- A guest speaker gives a presentation.
- Refreshments are provided by the month's hosts while the silent auction starts and people bid on small mineral specimens donated by club members.
- There is a rock show & tell. For every meeting, there is a Mineral of the Month. This is not a requirement, but merely a suggestion to help create a more themed show & tell.
- The business meeting starts and collecting trips and other events are discussed.
- The meeting adjourns.

- Take Exit 5 toward Squirrel Hill/Homestead/Greenfield for 0.1 miles.
- Take the ramp toward Homestead/Squirrel Hill for 0.1 miles.
- Stay straight to go onto ramp for 0.1 miles.
- Merge towards the right onto Beechwood BLVD for 0.5 miles.
- At the traffic light go straight onto Browns Hill RD/Blue Belt. Continue to follow Blue Belt for 1.2 miles.
- After crossing the Homestead Greys Bridge (Homestead Highlevel Bridge), go straight through the traffic light onto West ST for 0.6 miles.
